| On the OverDrive's Debut performance Current world Wave champion Scott McKercher powered his way to an incredible second place at the Australian Slalom Championships. Up against an international Fleet of top Slalom sailors using the latest in high performance race equipment, the only sail to finish in front of him was the Severne SSR of Jesper Orth. The OverDrivesail offers race-winning performance, and finally gives flat water blasting/slalom junkies, recreational and formula experience racers a rig they have been awaiting for at an affordable price. Packed with great features the OverDrive is built to perform on lower carbon content masts (75% and up) and avoiding fragile components such as Carbon Tube battens and ultra light panels. Our Test and design teams comments: Ben Severne
"We set out to build two separate product lines, a dedicated Formula Experience sail and a new generation "Weekend Racer" Slalom Blasting sail. The first time we tested them the overlap became clear and the OverDrive was born."Scott McKercher
"For the ease of use that the OverDrive offers, I was absolutely amazed that it held its own in straight-line speed against the newest prototype and production race sails of our competitors."Jesper Orth
"The Overdrive offers a huge usable performance range and is less sensitive to trim and rigging settings than other performance sails. Basically it is easier to rig and easier to use, this translates into 99% of sailors being faster on it than a full blown race sail."Specifications
