Ben Severne • KA-515 As head designer and the inspiration behind the brand, Ben is renowned for pushing the development envelope. His intense interest in theoretical design, combined with his talent on the water brings the unique feel and usability to SEVERNE sails. He spends much of his time traveling between photo shoots, distributors and the SEVERNE production facility while constantly preparing new designs. Still an avid competitor, he beat a host of pro riders to win the 2004 Australian Wave Sailing Championship. |

Trent Pederson • NZL-108 SEVERNE’s marketing guru, Trent comes from a strong technical background of designing and building sails for over 17 years, before joining the SEVERNE team. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand he now manages all aspects of marketing and general management from the distribution headquarters in Thailand. Through his many skills he can be found doing all sorts, from tweaking light wind prototypes in the Thailand loft, to floating around in 10 ft Surf with his video camera capturing an action moment. |

Clinton Filen • SA-3 New to the team, Clinton joins us as product manager. Based in Perth he brings to the team a broad range of skills from product design and development to high level testing. Clintons background and experience can be directly attributed to the success of many of the current market leaders. Over the last 5 years he has played a pivotal part in the success of Pro limit and we are sure he will bring to SEVERNE the same enthusiasm and success. |

Jesper Orth • DEN-778 One of the first people to join SEVERNE’s sail development program, Jespers unique combination of sailmaking, design and racing experience gives him an excellent perspective on the SEVERNE Race Program. He focuses on testing and inputting the information into the design process allowing us to continuously feed race winning sails to our team and ultimately production. His passion for slalom as well as formula is evident in the SSR range, which has seen huge steps forward for 2005. He can be found at World Cup or Weekend races when not tucked away in our Perth R&D facility hand crafting the next race machine. |

Mark Pattison • AUS-93 Relocated from Adelaide to Perth to join the SEVERNE development team. As a trained sailmaker and a passionate wave sailor, Mark brings a fresh edge and insight into new products. A former Australian Junior Slalom Champion, Mark can be found assisting Jesper with intensive sail testing, preparing and tweaking prototypes or organizing the array of equipment required for the SEVERNE development program. Looks a lot like Adam Sandler just not quite as funny. |
