At SEVERNE, we are obsessed with creating the best windsurfing sails we can imagine. And some of us have some pretty vivid imaginations... For many this relentless pursuit of perfection may seem fanatical. But you, however, will inevitably benefit from this focused passion of ours by being able to experience a sail that's noticeably smoother, faster and more reactive than ever before.

We started this sail brand for 2 reasons; we love this sport, and secondly, we want to build sails that help people like you enjoy windsurfing as much as we do. Already, the second part of the plan is well on track, this is illustrated by our test winning S-1, S-2, C2 and NCX results from all over the planet. This year, we have shown our commitment to the sport by presenting the best wave sailing contest the world has seen for years ? the SEVERNE PWA Hawaii PRO.

Like all good companies, the core strength of SEVERNE lies in the people behind the brand; the people with the imagination, drive, and technical expertise to bring these visions to life. People like Svein Rasmussen, Trent Pedersen, Jesper Orth, Clinton Filen, Mark Pattison. And what makes this mix so special is that they are ALL fanatical windsurfers, grabbing their time on the water at every opportunity.

In the following pages we will try to give you an idea behind the thinking that went into our products, but what we do cannot always be bulleted in tech features: ours is a more holistic approach to sail design. We are focused on creating sails with a certain feel, a handling style which is a constant theme running through every model. Something we are defining more clearly with our Rig Ergonomics.

We would like to thank all the riders that displayed individuality and joined the Revolution. Your feedback and support has been invaluable in bringing you our 2nd collection of sails, and making this whole experience extremely meaningful. More importantly we hope that everyone enjoys their water time even more this season - we intend to.
